A home is a cloud is a collaborative performance project
14 September—13th of January 2023
Come join us for an exciting opportunity to devise and choreograph a performance in a collaborative setting.
Together we will be sharing ideas and visions about migration and movement and creating a performance piece for a public performance in London in January 2024.
You have the chance to learn about choreography, scriptwriting, and storytelling. In our weekly workshops, we will further explore sound and music by working with self-made instruments and Ableton. You will have the chance to make your own music and create your own piece to be played at the performance.

We will be working with musical sculptures and sonic installations that can be played by musicians and amateurs alike.
Workshops include working with
music, sound, voice, instruments, Audible, recordings, archives, poetry, script writing, choreography, movement, scenography, light design, relaxation techniques, meditation and more.
For the performance, we will be working with a cloudscape that has been collaboratively done with men and women of the Jesuit Refugee Centre, Hackney Migrant Centre, The Asian Women Ressource Center and The South London Refugee Association.
The cloudscape will carry embroidery of people’s stories and cultural backgrounds, weaving together different aesthetics of home.
